As a small job list publisher I would have never thought that this day would come, but it has…

TMP Worldwide, the parent company to Monster.com, has posted a job on Jobmatchbox.com.

For that I’m flattered enought to feature their job today.

Thanks and good luck!

My phone has been ringing off the hook lately (pardon the phone 1.0 terminology) for designers, consultants and developers who can re-design, re-develop, and re-optimize (SEO) websites.

I’ve got one standing order posted here on the list, but have a lot of other requests that I simply don’t have the time to post.  If you are someone who wants to do freelance work, knows someone who does freelance work, has a small or established interactive shop, or has experience with social media coaching (or whatever else you happen to call it) then please do not hesitate to send me your resume, cv (visual, video or traditional are all ok with me) ASAP.

There is one catch: you have to be based in the Washington, DC or Baltimore, MD area.  While I would love to talk to you if you happen to be in some faraway metro or place, I don’t have time for you rigth now…stay tuned though because I may eventually.  If you don’t include your full name or phone number I will assume that you are coming from outside of the DC/Baltimore metro areas and will delete your email.

You can reach me using either of the following methods:
Twitter: Jobmatchbox
Email: email@jobmatchbox.com

Thanks,

Robert

Razoo.com wants to talk to you if you have social media, marketing and interactive genius!  Here is the job description:

Director of Audience
Role Summary

As Razoo’s leading advocate and marketer, you will be responsible for providing vision, setting strategy, and for building and engaging an audience of donors who are dedicated to making the world a better place. You will be responsible for drawing upon industry best-practices and your experience to engage users on the site, provide them with a world-class experience, and deepen relationships between users and Razoo along our continuum of engagement.

About Us

Razoo invites individuals to experience the joy of giving through a marketplace that matches passion and resources with life-changing projects around the world. We are a web site and a lifestyle, providing both inspiration and practical tools to help our members make a difference. Our name reflects our goal to encourage giving and to unlock the potential of every dollar invested in the lives of others.

The Razoo marketplace is a simple yet innovative approach to philanthropy that bridges the gap between those with means, and those in need. We will do so by fundamentally improving the giving process–from finding the right opportunity to tracking the ongoing progress of projects.

Our vision is as big as the challenges we are addressing, and lasting solutions take time. We are currently building out the core of our marketplace by helping donors give more effectively and efficiently to US-based charities. Razoo members can find and donate to organizations, track their giving online, and schedule donations to meet their personal goals—all for free. We are changing philanthropy incrementally through technology, and we invite you to get involved.

About You

You are a student of people. You understand how to attract and engage people online, and love interacting, sharing and learning from them.
You understand business. Your decisions are driven by good business sense, and you have a natural inclination to think about ROI.
You are creative. In all things, not just design, you are an innovator. You can bring a different perspective to complex issues and can think in and outside the box in the same meeting.
You are a great communicator and an engaging writer. You have the ability to present information in an easily accessible and compelling way. You can summarize complex concepts in a few bullet points.
You see the big (and little) picture. You are comfortable with high-level strategic planning as well as rolling up your sleeves for tactical implementation of online engagement strategies.
You care about social good. You have either professional or personal experience working towards making the world a better place.
Your integrity is unquestioned. This speaks for itself.
Responsibilities

Own the Razoo Scorecard and other performance reports, which are the barometers by which we measure success and refine our business. (We are numbers people.)
Design, implement and manage marketing campaigns – using online (paid and organic), social media, email, and offline tools – to build and expand relationships with new and existing users.
Participate in Product Development meetings as an advocate for our users to provide feedback on the existing site features and make suggestions for improvements, features, and strategies to drive site activity, enhance user experience, improve member engagement.
Write and edit content for web pages, Giving Guides, email newsletters, customer service collateral, and other assets as needed.
Develop and implement an online and offline customer service vision, philosophy and policy.
Develop project plans and keep initiatives running according to plan in coordination with Marketing, User Experience, and Software Development teams.
Qualifications

5 –10 years of experience in successfully growing and cultivating audiences and donor bases using online tools and marketing strategies
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
Strong written communications skills (e.g., writing copy for marketing materials)
Strong project management skills (attention to detail, ability to manage against budgets and deadlines, ability to develop project plans, etc.)
Analytical ability (to measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns)
Desired Qualifications

Web Site analytics experience (e.g., Google Analytics, Web Side Story, Omniture, Webtrends)
Experience with social media, including microformats, social networks, websites, etc.

To be considered for this role please send an email to: email@staffmagnet.com ASAP.
