DC Begins To Cut Back Too

If you haven’t read Hamil Harris’s aticle in today’s Washington Post then you should.  It provides a good write-up of the District’s efforts to cut back on expenditures.  Most of our attention has been on how the economic situation has affected the private sector, but we should not forget that government programs from schools to defense are paid for with tax revenues.  Tax revenues come from the private sector so when it starts to hurt the government will not be far behind.  I wonder if this will have any effect on efforts by the DC CTO to embrace social media.
